Ziegenfelder will build a manufacturing facility in Texas

The Ziegenfelder Company is planning to establish a new manufacturing plant in Lockhart, Texas. The company will bring a capital investment of $29 million for building the new manufacturing facility. In addition, the project will also create 100 new jobs in the area.

Operating for more than 100 years

The Ziegenfelder Company is a manufacturer of frozen dessert and is running manufacturing operations in the United States for more than 100 years. They make Budget Saver frozen treats, which can be found throughout the country. Furthermore, the company already have manufacturing facilities in West Virginia, California and Colorado. Now, they are building a new facility in Lockhart, Texas. The announcement of this investment came from Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s office.

Greg Abbott said in a release.

Texas Enterprise Fund grant of $525,000

In addition, the dessert company will also receive a Texas Enterprise Fund grant of $525,000 as part of building a facility in Lockhart. “The Ziegenfelder Company currently operates three manufacturing facilities in West Virginia, Colorado, and California, producing the nation’s No. 1 frozen novelty brand, Budget Saver. We have been in business for more than 160 years, and this $29 million investment is the next steppingstone in our company’s growth. The business-friendly environment that Lockhart and the State of Texas have created was a major reason we decided to expand our business in the region.” President of The Ziegenfelder Company Keven Heller said in a statement.

Ziegenfelder Company is a private, family owned frozen novelty manufacturer that focuses on producing the highest quality frozen ice treats. Moreover, Ziegenfelder operates production facilities in Wheeling, Chino, California and Denver.
