America based tech consultancy firm Credera has announced to invest £45 million in Newcastle and Manchester. Moreover, the company is planning to create 200 tech jobs in Newcastle.

Credera is a IT consulting firm specialized in strategy, innovation, data and technology. They have planned to open their new office at the Catalyst Building within Newcastle’s £350m Helix development. “Launching our Newcastle office marks the start of another exciting chapter in the Credera story. We believe that the city’s growing tech scene will open the door to new and exciting opportunities for our people and clients alike, and we look forward to welcoming new and diverse perspectives to our community.” Chief Executive Officer for Credera in the UK, Chris Dean said in a statement.

Invest Newcastle and Credera’s collaboration

Credera has worked with Invest Newcastle to establish their presence in UK. Invest Newcastle is part of region’s public-private partnership Newcastle Gateshead Initiative (NGI). The firm will utilize the new office to broaden its technical reach and support towards the North East. “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Credera to the region and to Newcastle Helix where they’ll be part of a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and data. We’ve worked side by side with the team and with the wider Omnicom Group, since autumn 2021 when we helped to build the case for this global digital and tech player’s move to Newcastle.” Jen Hartley, Director of Invest Newcastle at Newcastle Gateshead Initiative (NGI) said in a statement.

Employment opportunities in Manchester and Newcastle

Credera will invest £20 million in Manchester to create 150 graduate roles over the next three years. Hence, this initiative will help candidates looking to kickstart their career. Manchester has a proven track record for innovation and development and has a strong reputation of being a great place to work. Moreover, Credera will invest another £25 million in Newcastle. Initially, they have planned to create 160 high-skilled jobs in Newcastle. Eventually, they will crate 200 high-skilled tech jobs for the locals. Newcastle’s growing tech scene will open the door to new and exciting opportunities for other companies.
