Travel insurance company AllClear has established a new office in Cardiff. Moreover, the travel insurance group will create more than 100 new jobs at their office.
AllClear is one of the fastest growing insurance firm across the United Kingdom. The have become a market leading provider of specialist travel insurance for people with medical conditions. The group was setup in 2000 in Essex. Currently, they have provided insurance cover to more than three million participants. Moreover, they have their customer base in UK, Ireland and Australia.
Support from Cardiff Council
Coronavirus had severely affected the travel business over the past couple of years. However, the restrictions are getting softer as the coronavirus cases have faded out. Therefore, AllClear group is now looking to expand their business in Cardiff. Its new operations in Cardiff will focus on customer service and its technology platforms. Cardiff Council has provided support to AllClear in carrying out their expansion plans. City’s economic team have played a key role in assisting AllClear to find the office space. Moreover, they have also helped the insurance company in making connections with local suppliers and partners.
“We are delighted to see AllClear invest in Cardiff, they are part of a growing financial and professional services cluster here in the capital city and we very much hope that they will continue to grow and create many new jobs.” Russell Goodway, Cardiff Council’s cabinet member for investment and development said in a statement expressing his delight on the latest investment announcement.
“Despite a very challenging Covid era for the travel industry, the AllClear Group is ready for the return of travel and helping more customers than ever before. Our new Cardiff office will be the fourth site for our UK operations and marks another bold step for one of the fastest growing travel companies in the UK.” Chris Rolland, chief executive of AllClear Group said in a statement.
New job opportunities
The investment from AllClear insurance company will also bring many employment opportunities in the area. AllClear has already created 38 jobs at its Brunel House operation in the city center. Moreover, they are actively involved in recruiting and are aiming to increase their headcount to more than 100 during the coming few months.
