NetApp has announced to open its international headquarters in the city of Cork. Moreover, the tech company has also decided to create 500 new jobs in Ireland by 2025.

International headquarters in Cork

NetApp is a cloud software company has opened a new facility at Navigation Square in the Cork docklands. Primarily, they are a U.S. based firm having its global headquarter in California. Moreover, their key clients include vaccine maker AstraZeneca and animation studio DreamWorks. This facility will serve as a base for international and commercial sales and technology operations. Moreover, it will provide a platform to increase the company’s support for its global customer base.

Opening our international headquarters in Ireland is an important and exciting step on our path to accelerate our transformation as a company, collaborating with partners and supporting our customers’ cloud-led digital transformation. NetApp is growing its international presence to expand its talent and continue to bring industry-leading capabilities and solutions to enhance our unique value proposition.” NetApp’s CEO César Cernuda said in a statement.

500 jobs with flexible work arrangements

Furthermore, the company plans to add 500 workers at its international headquarters in Cork. Significantly, NetApp has already hired for 100 of these positions. They are aiming to hire another 200 people by the end of 2023. Whereas, the cloud software company will fill the remaining roles by 2025. The available positions range from early career to senior level roles. Moreover, the company will offer these roles in multiple domains. These include engineering and technology finance, sales, recruitment, and product management. In addition, the NetApp stated that it is offering flexible working opportunities to its employees. In addition, employees may also avail wellbeing days, no-meetings days and paid volunteer days.
