Staffing and consultancy firm Oxford Global Resources has announced to create 75 jobs at its European headquarter in Cork. Moreover, the recruitment company is seeking to hire people across sales, recruitment, finance, IT, HR, legal and marketing.

$700 global revenue in 2022

There is an increased customer demand of Oxford Global Resources services across Europe. Moreover, Oxford is on track to reach a company milestone of US $700 million in global revenue in 2022. In addition, the company is projecting to reach a revenue of $1 billion over the next three years. Hence, the company is looking to increase its headcount to meet the rising demand of its services. In addition to these 75 jobs, OGR has already added 30 jobs at its Cork office since 2021.

“Oxford has long been a stalwart of the city center on Penrose Quay, and it is fantastic to see them once again demonstrate their commitment to Cork with today’s [Friday’s] announcement of 75 new roles. Customer demand is driving Oxford’s growth across Europe. We are all aware of the challenges around recruitment globally and Oxford is committed to delivering the best talent for our customers when they need it.” Taoiseach Micheál Martin said in his statement at Oxford Cork office.

Oxford’s global presence

Previously, Oxford has opened a number of offices in Düsseldorf, Munich, Antwerp and Mechelen. In addition, the consultancy firm also expanded their exiting offices in Amsterdam, Barcelona and Madrid. Moreover, the company is also looking to explore opportunities in Switzerland. Interim CEO of IDA Ireland Mary Buckley welcomed the news and stated that Oxford has grown from strength to strength. Moreover, their current decision to create 75 jobs in Cork shows Oxford’s commitment to the South West region.

“Since Oxford established in Cork in 1994, the team has grown from strength to strength. Today’s announcement at its European HQ demonstrates the commitment Oxford has made to the South West region. I wish them continued success.” Mary Buckley added to his statement.
