SnackCraft is establishing their U.S. headquarter in the city of Kenwood with an estimated investment of $41.75 million. Moreover, the project will also get support from Michigan Strategic Fund. In addition, SnackCraft’s move to United States will lead to the creation of 185 good-paying jobs.

Demand of SnackCraft products within United States

SnackCraft is a Greece-based manufacturer of high-quality snack food. Recently, the snacks manufacturer has announced that they are setting up their base in United States as well. Previously, SnackCraft started their business in Greece back in 2008. The company specializes in R&D and the manufacture of high-quality, natural baked snacks which are free from allergens and artificial ingredients. In addition, they also manufacture rackers, crisps and baked goods made of unique ingredients like lentil flour, chickpea flour etc. Significantly, the demand of its products has increased globally including the United States market. Hence, the snacks company has announced its plans to enter the U.S. market and open a manufacturing facility in Kenwood.

Employment opportunities and support from Michigan Strategic Fund

In addition, the Greek snacks manufacturer has shown intent of creating 185 new jobs at the new facility. Moreover, they have also received support of $1 million Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant. SnackCraft’s commitment to Michigan builds on the state’s ongoing support of its robust agribusiness industry. “Michigan is quickly becoming known worldwide as the place to be for new and expanding food and agricultural businesses.
