United States based restaurant management platform Toast has opened a new office in Dublin. Moreover, the company’s management announced that the opening of this new office will also create 100 new jobs during 2022.

Cloud-based restaurant technology platform

Toast was launched in 2013 in United States. Toast is a cloud-based, all-in-one digital technology platform purpose-built for the entire restaurant community. It powers restaurants of all sizes with a technology platform. The technology platform integrates restaurant point of sale, front of house, back of house and guest-facing technology. Furthermore, Toast put their foot prints in Ireland back in 2017 when they set up an international technology and product development center in Dublin.

Toast’s global presence

Currently, Toast is employing more than 3,000 workers in United States, Ireland, United Kingdom, Canada and India. According to company, they have chosen Ireland for its concentration of high level technical capability. “Over the last several years, we’ve come to reap so many more benefits from our strategic investment here–ease of collaboration with other Toast teams, Irish hospitality, and more. We look forward to more fruitful days to come for Toast in Ireland.” Robert McGarry, Senior Vice President of Engineering for Toast and leader of Toast Dublin office said in his statement.

100 new job opportunities

The company announced to create more than 100 new jobs at their new office in St Stephen’s Green in Dublin. In addition, Toast said that they will offer new roles across several functions including software development, sales and customer support. “I am delighted to welcome this announcement from Toast, which will see the creation of 100 new jobs as part of their Irish expansion. I am happy to hear that the jobs will be in a range of areas including software development, sales and customer support.” Minister of State Damien English said welcoming the news.

Toast has enjoyed a partnership with the Irish government through IDA Ireland. Furthermore, Ireland continues to strategically contribute to the growth of the company’s talent base and innovation capabilities.
