ThreatLocker, one of the leading cybersecurity provider has announced to open its new European headquarter in Dublin. Moreover, the establishment of new headquarter is likely to create 120 new jobs.

ThreatLocker is a Florida based company which specializes in providing cybersecurity services. Moreover, the company which was founded in 2015 is now planning to capitalize on growing demand for cybersecurity services. Hence, the company has announced to expand its footprints across Europe. Therefore, ThreatLocker has announced to open an office in Blanchardstown, Dublin. The Blanchardstown office will provide services to European, Middle Eastern and African markets. Moreover, the new office will help in delivering its services and tools to businesses through managed service providers in the EMEA region.

“Cybersecurity is an increasing problem for many businesses with the number of sophisticated cyberattacks increasing day by day, costing businesses huge amounts of money. Launching in Dublin today is a major strategic milestone for ThreatLocker as we begin our expansion into the European marketplace. Our company has many Irish links and Dublin is the EU headquarters of so many major global companies, so it is the perfect location. ThreatLocker has ambitious targets for growth, and we are very excited to push ahead with this new phase in our company’s history.” Danny Jenkins, CEO and co-founder of ThreatLocaker said in a statement.

Jobs across various roles

Furthermore, the Florida based cybersecurity company will create numerous jobs at its Dublin office. The new office will open by the end of this year. The Ireland office will create 120 new jobs. According to Irish Times, ThreatLocker is currently seeking resources for the roles solutions engineers and account managers. In addition, they are also looking to hire admin, sales and finance as well.

Importantly, the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) will place additional cybersecurity requirements on financial service providers operating in the EU. Therefore, the demand for cybersecurity services will also increase and ThreatLocker is intending to capitalize on that.
