Tech Mahindra is planning to expand their revenue stream and grow across the UK. They will collaborate with a leading academia institute in the United Kingdom and will create more than 1,000 jobs in the country.

The tech giant will collaborate with a leading academia and research institute in the UK. The collaboration will enable them to co-innovation at Tech Mahindra’s Makers Lab in Milton Keynes. Makers Lab is a research & development hub for co-innovation of solutions and services of the future with customers. Moreover, it also collaborates with research centers, universities, startups and partner companies.

Boris Johnson’s visit to India

The announcement came during the two-day visit of PM Boris Johnson to India. The Prime Minister made an announcement regarding collaboration among both countries in field of AI. The aim of the initiative is to enhance innovation and bring prosperity in both the countries. In addition, it will harness the power of AI and technology to tackle global challenges. “Trade and investment between the UK and India is creating good jobs and sustaining livelihoods in both of our countries. I am very pleased that Tech Mahindra has decided to join the legions of Indian companies investing in the UK, boosting our technology sector and driving economic growth,” UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in the statement.

Employment opportunities

Tech Mahindra is amongst the top Indian technology investors in the UK. In collaboration with academia and research institute, Tech Mahindra Makers Lab will boost AI growth in United Kingdom. Moreover, their goal is to expand AI growth across 90+ countries where the company is operating. The association with academia and research institutes will further enable Tech Mahindra to pave the way for job creation as well. Moreover, this initiative alone will create more than 1,000 jobs across the United Kingdom.
