Firstsource is expanding their operations in UK

Firstsource Solutions Limited is planning to expand and grow their operations across the United Kingdom. Moreover, the investment will create around 1,000 new jobs in South Wales over the next twelve months.

Firstsource Solutions is a global provider of Business Process Management (BPM) and RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group  owns the company. On Saturday, the company has reiterated their commitment to expand their operations across the UK. The company is operating in United Kingdom since 2006 and has grown rapidly ever since. Moreover, it is serving leading UK companies across telecom, insurance, banking, media, utilities and life sciences.

Employment opportunities

The latest expansion and investment plans will pave way for multiple jobs opportunities across the UK. Firstsource is planning to create more than 1,000 jobs over the next year. Currently, they have their presence across six regional sites in UK and is employing more than 5,000 employees. The company is now focusing on impact sourcing and is looking to tap areas with higher unemployment rate. They have already hired 1,250 employees in United Kingdom through impact sourcing initiatives.

Firstsource will try to strengthen their culture by exploring options like satellite offices and introducing flexible working hours for employees. The company’s commitment to developing its talent is evident in its receipt of the Gold accreditation against the Investors in People (IIP) Standard for its UK operations. Moreover, Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) 2022 also included Firstsource for being an equal opportunity employer.

Boris Johnson welcomed the move
