Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) is expanding its footprints in United Stated, especially in Illinois. Therefore, the company has announced to create 1,200 new jobs by the end of 2024 in Illinois.

TCS has hired more than 1,000 workers in Illinois during 5 years

TCS is part of India’s largest multinational business group Tata. Moreover, TCS is an IT services, consulting and business solutions company. They have over 616,000 of the world’s best-trained consultants in 55 countries. In addition, TCS is employing more than 3,000 workers in Illinois. Significantly, TCS hired 1,100 of these workers within the last five years. This indicates that the company is actively seeking to grow its existence within Illinois. Furthermore, TCS is operating within United States for more than 50 years. Importantly, nearly half of the fortune 500 companies have partnered with TCS for transformation of their businesses.

TCS existence in Illinois

TCS has become the second largest recruiter of IT services talent in the United States. Moreover, they have hired 512 graduates of Illinois colleges and universities over the past five years. “Over the last few years, businesses in Illinois and across the U.S. have grappled with disruption – from the pandemic and inflation to supply chain problems and skyrocketing demand for talent. Our expansion in Illinois is driven by companies that use these obstacles as an opportunity to transform themselves and capture growth. TCS is attracting the brightest talent in cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity and other technologies to help them become future-ready enterprises.” Chairman of North America of TCS Suresh Muthuswami said in a statement.
