UK’s retail giant Aldi is planning is planning to recruit hundreds of new workers. Moreover, they are planning to fill numerous roles across their multiple stores across the country.

2000 worker will be hired nationwide

Aldi is the fifth largest supermarket chain operating across the United Kingdom. Significantly, Aldi has initiated a massive recruitment drive across the United Kingdom. Moreover, this recent hiring push will lead to creation of 2,000 new job nationwide. “As we continue to grow and make Aldi accessible to even more shoppers, we need more amazing colleagues across the country to help make that possible. As well as healthcare and lifestyle perks, working at Aldi means a great working environment and real opportunities to progress within the business. We look forward to welcoming even more great people in Cornwall to become a part of our success.” Kelly Stokes, recruitment director at Aldi UK said in his statement.

Furthermore, Aldi  is on the hunt to hire 440 workers for its stores in Bolton, Wigan and Stockport. Moreover, the retail giant is offering multiple roles ranging from full-time and part-time stock assistants, deputy managers and managers. Importantly, the store managers may earn up to £48,490 per annum. In addition, Aldi is offering positions in number of other areas. These include 110 new jobs for their store in Truro and 200 jobs in Derby.

Competitive wages

Apart from new job offerings, Aldi has elevated the wages of its store workers during this year. The supermarket chain announced a second pay increase this year for its store workers. Consequently, workers at Aldi will earn a minimum hourly rate of £10.50 nationally. Whereas the employees working in London will get a minimum hourly wage of £11.95 with paid breaks included. Moreover, the decision contributed to maintaining their status as the UK’s best-paying supermarket.
