McWane Ductile Ohio announced to invest $45 million to expand its plant at Coshocton County. Moreover, the expansion plan is likely to create 50 new full-time jobs.

Support from The Coshocton Port Authority

The project by McWane Ductile includes renovation and expansion of Coshocton plant. In addition, infrastructure development and addition of a new annealing line is also part of the project. The Coshocton Port Authority expressed support for the project in March. “We are thrilled they are leading Coshocton in this tremendous investment and commitment to their customers and employees. We are so grateful that McWane Ductile continues to choose Coshocton and our community.” Coshocton Port Authority Director Tiffany Swigert in a press release.

50 new full-time jobs

The plant expansion and supplemental job creation aims to create 50 new jobs at McWane Ductile. Moreover, the investment at the plant will also assist in retaining about 500 existing jobs. In addition, strategic partnership between JobsOhio and OhioSE will bolster McWane Ductile Ohio’s talent retention and recruitment strategies. “McWane is an industry leader in waterworks production and supply, and we welcome its continued success in Ohio. The company’s expansion of its Coshocton facility will add 50 new jobs and demonstrates the value of Ohio talent for manufacturers looking to grow their business in North America.” J.P. Nauseef, JobsOhio president and CEO said in his statement.

JobsOhio Talent Acquisition Services (TAS)

The JobsOhio Talent Acquisition Services (TAS) program will assist the company with talent recruitment efforts. Furthermore, they will also help build a pipeline of electrical and industrial maintenance talent to help support McWane’s needs with the expanded operations. McWane is currently looking for 25 production entry level positions. “This is not a loan or a grant but an investment on the company’s behalf by the JobsOhio Talent Team Members and JobsOhio partners with customized solutions to assist in attracting and retaining quality employees.” OhioSE President Mike Jacoby in the release.
